You might start the morning with coffee at Denim Coffee, stop for lunch at Pitt St. Station , browse local shops, enjoy an evening meal at 1794 the Whiskey Rebellion or the  new Pompeii Italian Grill , then meet friends for a drink at one of the downtown establishments such as Gingerbread Man, Molly Pitcher Brewery or  Back Porch Brewing Inc..

There are also local institutions such as Hamilton Restaurant & Lounge famous for their Hotchee Dogs  and Helena’s Chocolate Café and Crêperie that contribute to the distinctive personality of downtown. A must for a sweet treat is The Carlisle Bakehouse!!
